We are excited to invite you to the Palm Beach County SHRM April Chapter Dinner Meeting on April 15, 2025, at the Delta Marriott, 1301 Belvedere Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33405. Workplace Compliance is at the cornerstone of every HR department and business, and this meeting will focus on an important topic that impacts organizations across industries.

Program Title: EEO  Overview: Preventing Workplace Harassment

Speaker: Erline Romulus, Enforcement Supervisor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Miami District Office

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand what constitutes unlawful workplace harassment and the various forms under federal EEOC laws.
  2. Learn the steps employers can take to address and resolve harassment complaints effectively.
  3. Gain practical strategies for fostering a workplace culture that promotes respect and helps prevent harassment.

 

About the Speaker:
Erline Romulus is an Enforcement Supervisor for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Miami District Office. She has been with the Commission since 2018 and has vast experience supervising investigations and handling complaints regarding employment discrimination. In addition to her investigative work, Ms. Romulus is actively involved in educating the public on EEOC and federal employment laws.
