Proactive, Not Reactive: A Holistic Approach to Mental Health

Learning Objectives:  

  • Identify Key Indicators of Employee Mental Health Issues: Understand the early signs of mental health challenges and learn how to recognize them before they escalate into larger problems. 
  • Develop Proactive Mental Health Strategies: Explore effective strategies for creating a supportive workplace, including mental health education, employee assistance programs, and stress management initiatives. 

  • Foster a Culture of Support and Well-being: Learn how to build an organizational culture that prioritizes employee mental health, encouraging open communication, destigmatization, and providing the necessary resources for employees to thrive. 

Speaker’s Bio:  

Alisha W. Singh is a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Qualified Supervisor for Registered Mental Health Interns (QS-RMHI), and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. She earned her master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. Alisha is a Certified MBTI® Practitioner and Mental Health First Aid® Facilitator, with a strong background in human resources through her work with various state and local government agencies. 

In addition to maintaining a private counseling practice, Alisha provides consulting services focused on employee professional development, workplace wellness, and organizational effectiveness. She is an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). 

Alisha also serves on the advisory committee for Lynn University’s Crisis, Resilience, and First Responder Trauma Training Advisory Committee (CRAFT-AC), supporting trauma-focused training for first responders.
