Program Title: Conversations With Senator Mack Bernard: Unpacking The One Big Beautiful Bill & More ✨

Program Objective:

The objective of this special in-person meeting is to create a platform for our HR community and business partners to gain insights and dialogue with Senator Mack Bernard on the current legislative climate, including the "One Big Beautiful Bill" act and other pressing key issues. This gathering aims to foster an open exchange of ideas, allowing attendees to engage with the senator on a range of topics, share their concerns, and gain insights into the legislative process and its impact on our lives.

Learning Objectives:  

✅ Understanding Legislations:  Attendees will gain insights into the "One Big Beautiful Bill" act, including its objectives, benefits, and potential challenges, enhancing their understanding of the legislative process. 

✅ Current Issues Awareness: Participants will learn about the current legislative climate, including key issues affecting the community and how these developments may impact their lives.

✅ Civic Engagement: Community members will understand the importance of civic engagement and how their voices can influence decision-making, empowering them to take an active role in local governance.Recognize the impact of poorly managed change  

Speaker: Senator Mack Bernard is a member of the Florida State Senate, representing District 24 since November 5, 2024. Bernard has a bachelor's degree in political science and criminal justice from Florida State University and a law degree from the University of Florida. His career includes serving as a Delray Beach city commissioner, Florida House representative, and Palm Beach County commissioner. Active in community service, he holds leadership roles in several organizations and was named Housing Hero of the Year in 2024.
