During the 118th Congress, SHRM was able to advance many policy priorities by adhering to its philosophy of “policy, not politics.” With the start of the 119th Congress on Jan. 3, SHRM is optimistic about advancing additional public policy priorities to ensure U.S. employers remain competitive in the world economy while enhancing the career prospects and quality of life for their employees.
