Marcela Carneiro Millett has worked for Palm Beach County for over 15 years, gaining experience across Community Services, Court Administration, Risk Management, the Office of Financial Management and Budget, and now the Department of Ombudsman and Strategic Planning.
She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and Certified Career Coach, committed to continuous process improvement, data‑driven decision‑making, and staff development.
As the Manager for the County’s Strategic Planning and Performance Management efforts, Marcela guides more than 35 departments in developing strategic plans and identifying key performance indicators aligned with the County’s Vision, Mission, and Strategic Priorities.
When it comes to psychological safety, Marcela believes it is the foundation for any team to succeed and achieve its goals.
